Review : Sushi Masa

I hope you're doing good !!

This time around i want to share my dining experience in one of the most happening sushi restaurant in town. If you guess it's Sushi Masa then you are right. It's located quite far away from downtown Jakarta. As we headed north into the Muara Baru district. Famous for the fish market in Jakarta.

So i really looking forward for today. The day that i will try the famous sushi. Many of my friends said it is outstanding! And they say it's worth the long way. So let's try it. I bring a friend with me, because if i will try all the chef recommendation i might need an extra stomach.

So the restaurant is located in the Jl. Tuna in Muara Angke District. You can easily check your waze app or use google map. When i was arrived, i was little surprise knowing the restaurant is actually located in the tall building. It is a five story building and Sushi Masa is located in the third floor.

Second of surprise is knowing that the restaurant is quite packed of people. I headed to the bar where my friend were already there. So let's try what they have to offer.

First of for the appetizer is Maguro Natto. 40K
It's basicaly the traditional Natto with fresh diced Tuna

Lobster Guratan. 50K
It's my personal favorite !!
Lobster + Cheese = Heaven

Let's burn this shhhhh up !!

Spicy Salmon Hanaroll. 70K
It's actually their best seller sushi ! 

The Mouthwatering  Maguro Sushi. 15K each
It's very fresh

Plafa Michael Seafood Yaki, 75K
So it's rice with salmon and cheesy sauce on top. 

Ikura Mini Donburi. 60K
I always love the Salmon Roe on rice.
It's pop in your mouth

Salmon Aburi. 12K each
The Salmon is so fresh.

Spicy Kaki Guratan. 40 K
It's the Oyster with cheese sauce on top. Outstanding !!!

Wafu Hotate Guratan. 75K
Last but not least, The Scallop with cheese on top.

Overall, Sushi Masa is the best sushi restaurant in Jakarta right now.

I know it's not cheap and also it's not very reachable because it's located in north Jakarta, But actually it's safe to say that it's VERY WORTH IT.

My favorite dish in this restaurant are :

1. Lobster Guratan

2. Spicy Kaki Guratan ( the Oyster with cheese on top )

3. Spicy Salmon Hanaroll

You can thank me later but those dish are AMAZING!

Tips !

1. Bring your friends, so you can try many of the dishes and split the bill.

2. It's very crowded in the weekend. So if you plan to take a day off and go. it will be awesome! LOL.

3. It's better if you save the reservation during the weekend visit.

So i guess that's my review of Sushi Masa.
